I'm Angela Hartley, Cardiac Nurse and Exercise Coach and I'm here to help you get fitter, stronger and get your mojo back. At Healthy Hearties we pride ourselves on being a friendly community of like minded people that want to have fun and get fit, whilst ensuring our heart stays safe. We not only want to help you achieve your health and fitness goals, we want to see you get back to enjoying life and not be held back by your heart condition.

No matter how unfit you are or what heart condition you have, we can help! As part of the programmes on offer you will feel part of a community, be able to use a range of tools to keep you motivated and have access to a members area on the website where you can interact with others, learn more about your heart condition and track your progress.

We always take into account your medical history, medications, energy levels and overall goals to tailor a programme for you that is safe, effective and fun.

Our Programmes

Healthy Hearties Group Classes On Zoom

If you are missing being part of a group class and love working out with others, my Healthy Hearties group classes are for you. Here’s what you can expect:

  • Cardiac rehab style classes (low impact, heart friendly)
  • Classes held over Zoom - exercise from your living room
  • Suitable for any heart condition or those who haven't exercised for a while
  • Minimal equipment needed - start with cans of beans!
  • Regular online catch ups after class - chat with the other Hearties!

6 Week Healthy Hearties Programme

What is included in my one to one cardiac rehab programmes?

  • Private sessions either face to face in East Molesey, Surrey or over Zoom
  • Initial 90 minute clinical assessment with myself (cardiac nurse) including taking your medical history and a range of measurements. 
  • A range of measurements will include blood pressure, heart rate, atrial fibrillation check, weight, body measurements, set some achievable goals and talk through your current diet.
  • Health plan created in liaison with your doctor or other medical team as needed.
  • Medication review with a list of questions to ask your doctor.
  • 1-2 sessions per week with myself or one of our expert coaches
  • Have someone on the end of a phone to ask questions and feel supported and understood
  • Home/gym programme to feel confident exercising in your own time
  • Support via email, text and phone
  • Food Diary Analysis and nutritional support
  • Advice on supplements, where appropriate
